On the morning of July 6, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of Phase 1 of Smart Logistics Service Hai Phong Co., Ltd. took place at Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone (Hai Phong). This is a joint venture project among three partners: Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, SITC Group, and SITC Dinh Vu Logistics Co., Ltd. The project marks a new development milestone in the strategic cooperation between Port of Hai Phong and SITC Group. The event also affirms the strong commitment to developing modern logistics infrastructure, effectively enhancing connectivity with global supply chains and trade networks.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from Port of Hai Phong, SITC Group, Dinh Vu Port Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, DEEP C Industrial Zones, and Smart Logistics Service Hai Phong Co., Ltd., along with representatives of strategic partners and customers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ha Vu Hao – Chairman of the Member’s Council of Smart Logistics Service Co., Ltd., emphasized the strategic role of the project: “With a prime location at the heart of the logistics hub of the Lach Huyen deep-water port – connecting key industrial zones such as DEEP C2, DEEP C3, and major transport routes; Smart Logistics Service Hai Phong is the first depot to be constructed and operated in this area. This project lays the foundation for a modern logistics center, bringing practical values and benefits to customers, while reaffirming our commitment to sustainable international cooperation toward a green – smart – efficient future.”

Sharing at the event, Mr. Pham Hong Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company stated: “Smart Logistics Service Hai Phong is a continuation of the successful joint venture model between Dinh Vu Port Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (a member of Port of Hai Phong) and SITC Group, which has been proven through 14 years of effective operation. This new project is oriented to become a green and smart logistics center – operating entirely on electricity and renewable energy, and fully applying digital technologies in its operation, from digitalized container handling and real-time empty container inventory management to the integration of advanced yard management systems—delivering transparent, fast, and highly efficient services.”
The sysnergy between Port of Hai Phong’s port operation expertise and SITC’s global logistics strength is expected to create an efficient depot model, serving as “an extended arm” of the regional seaports system, especially in the context of Container Terminals No. 3 and 4 at Lach Huyen, which officially commenced operations in May 2025.
With Phase 1 developed in a well-planned and modern manner, both parties aim to expand the project to 30–50 hectares by 2030, with the goal of establishing a strategic logistics hub that meets the growing demand for integrated logistics services in the northern region and across Northern Vietnam.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the leaders of both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration, investment, and innovation – toward a sustainable logistics ecosystem that generates widespread impact and makes practical contributions to the socio-economic development of Hai Phong City and the country as a whole.
