Hai Phong, September 23, 2025 – Haiphong Port TiL International Terminal (HTIT), a subsidiary of port of Hai Phong company system, has successfully received the MSC KALINA, operated by MSC, marking the largest container vessel ever to berth at Lach Huyen Deep-Sea Port. This milestone underscores HTIT’s growing operational capacity and reaffirms its position as a key gateway on the global maritime map.

On September 18, 2025, in Hai Phong City, the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Seaports Association (VPA) was solemnly held with the participation of more than 500 delegates from 76 member organizations, partner associations, state management agencies in Hai Phong, partner enterprises, and the nationwide maritime community. The Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company served as the host of the event.

On August 14, 2025, the Ministry of Construction issued Official Letter No. 8368/BXD-KCHT approving the policy for Berths 3 and 4 – Lach Huyen Terminal (Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company) to receive container vessels with a capacity of up to 165,000 DWT (partially laden).

As part of the working program on the newbuild Azimuth tug project, on the morning of August 9, 2025, a delegation from the Port of Hai Phong, led by Mr. Pham Hong Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors, visited Song Thu Corporation to inspect construction progress, materials procurement, and project completion.

On August 7, a delegation from the Ningbo Zhoushan Port, led by Mr. Teng Yahui – Director, Deputy General Manager, visited and worked with the Port of Hai Phong to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two major seaports in the Asia-Pacific region, while also exploring development potential in the Lach Huyen deep-water port area. Ningbo Zhoushan Port is one of the busiest ports in the world, consistently ranking among the top in terms of total cargo throughput.
