Port of Hai Phong Co-organizes a Business Connectivity Conference Bringing Together Manufacturers, Importers and Exporters, Port Operators, and Shipping Lines

On the morning of 7 August, Port of Hai Phong and the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade co-organized a conference connecting manufacturing and import-export enterprises with port operators and shipping lines under the theme “Supply Chain Linkages – Logistics Optimization – Driving Double-Digit Growth,” contributing to the city’s goal of achieving average annual GRDP growth of 13% or higher in accordance with Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU. Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee, attended and provided guidance at the conference.

PORT OF HAI PHONG WELCOMES HYUNDAI GLOVIS' FIRST RORO EXPORT VESSEL

On 29 July, Tan Vu Terminal, a branch of Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, hosted a ceremony to welcome the Positive Challenger of Eastern Car Liner (ECL), carrying 1,000 completely built-up (CBU) Hyundai vehicles exported by Hyundai Glovis from Hai Phong City to the Mexican market.

In early July 2026, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with MSC Vietnam Co., Ltd.—the local representative of MSC, the world's largest container shipping line—conducted a series of working visits and site surveys with the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, the Bac Ninh Industrial Parks Authority, and the Phu Tho Industrial Parks Authority. Port of Hai Phong Introduces Its First Modern 5,000 HP Azimuth Tugboat into Operation

On the morning of May 17, at Tan Vu Terminal, Port of Hai Phong Towage and Transport Joint Stock Company – a member company of Port of Hai Phong – officially held a ceremony to welcome the 5,000 HP Azimuth tugboat TUGTRANCO 01. This is currently the most powerful and modern tugboat in the Company’s fleet, marking the first time Port of Hai Phong has introduced an Azimuth tugboat equipped with advanced maneuvering technology into operation, meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of modern seaport and deep-water port operations.
