On the morning of 19 December 2025, in the formal atmosphere of the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Investment, Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Bach Dang Industrial Park, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company and Hai Phong Automobile Repair One Member Limited Liability Company (the Project Investor) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on studying cooperation in investment and operation of the seaport and logistics system at this industrial park.

On the morning of 14 December 2025, at Berths No. 3 and 4 of Lach Huyen Port (Port of Hai Phong – HTIT), Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company solemnly held a ceremony to welcome the 2-millionth container handled in 2025. This marks the first time in its more than 150 years of establishment and development that Port of Hai Phong has reached a throughput of 2 million TEUs per year, making it the first and only seaport in Northern Vietnam to achieve this remarkable milestone.

In the first week of December 2025, the atmosphere at Tan Vu Terminal Branch (Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company) was more vibrant than ever as the 1 millionth TEU container was officially handled. This is a particularly important milestone, marking the fifth consecutive year in which the terminal has maintained throughput above the one-million-TEU threshold, affirming its role as one of the key container handling hubs in the northern region.

On December 2, 2025, Port of Hai Phong, in cooperation with FPT Corporation, officially announced the deployment and commissioning of the FPT CFS solution — an automated system for financial closing and consolidated reporting. This marks the next step in Port of Hai Phong’s strong digitalization strategy, aiming toward comprehensive modernization of port operations and logistics, enhanced management efficiency, and alignment with international standards.
