On the morning of July 6, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of Phase 1 of Smart Logistics Service Hai Phong Co., Ltd. took place at Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone (Hai Phong). This is a joint venture project among three partners: Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, SITC Group, and SITC Dinh Vu Logistics Co., Ltd. The project marks a new development milestone in the strategic cooperation between Port of Hai Phong and SITC Group. 26/06/2025 Port of Hai Phong Implements Dredging of the Navigation Channel from the Upper Nam Hai Dinh Vu Terminal to the Upper Dinh Vu Terminal and Expands the Existing Turning Basin

With the approval from the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction) for the upgrade of the Hai Phong navigation channel from the upper Nam Hai Dinh Vu Terminal to the upper Dinh Vu Terminal and the expansion of the existing turning basin, as stated in Official Dispatch No. 12788/BGTVT-KHDT dated November 25, 2024, the Port of Hai Phong has initiated a series of tasks including the preparation of an investment project, detailed design, and contractor selection to carry out the dredging of the channel leading to Tan Vu and Dinh Vu Terminals, targeting a depth of -8.5 meters (chart datum).
