Hai Phong, September 23, 2025 – Haiphong Port TiL International Terminal (HTIT), a subsidiary of port of Hai Phong company system, has successfully received the MSC KALINA, operated by MSC, marking the largest container vessel ever to berth at Lach Huyen Deep-Sea Port. This milestone underscores HTIT’s growing operational capacity and reaffirms its position as a key gateway on the global maritime map.
The MSC KALINA, sailing under the Panamanian flag, is among the world’s mega container vessels with remarkable specifications: a length of 366.06 meters, an arrival draft of 12.2 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 162,867 DWT, and a handling capacity of 13.798 TEUs. The safe and efficient handling of this vessel required synchronized coordination between HTIT’s workforce, infrastructure, and state-of-the-art equipment.
