On the morning of October 22, 2025, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Vietnamese-Czech Friendship Hospital, organized the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Day. This annual activity carries profound humanitarian significance, reflecting the company’s sense of responsibility towards the community.
With the message “Each drop of blood given – A life remains”, this year’s program attracted more than 320 officials, employees, and youth union members from the entire company to participate, resulting in the collection of 226 blood units to serve emergency and treatment work for patients.
At the program, Mr Bui Manh Phuc – Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of the city, Chairman of the Red Cross Society of Hai Phong city, presented flowers, acknowledged, and praised the positive contributions of Port of Hai Phong to the city’s humanitarian blood donation movement over the years.
For more than 15 years of implementing the voluntary blood donation movement, Port of Hai Phong has had nearly 2,500 workers from the parent company, member units, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies participating, contributing thousands of units of clean, safe blood to healthcare facilities. This activity has become a beautiful tradition, spreading the spirit of compassion within the corporate culture of Port of Hai Phong.
In addition to the blood donation movement, Port of Hai Phong is also actively involved in many other social welfare activities such as: supporting the Fund for the Poor, caring for policy families, assisting students in difficult circumstances, and accompanying the city’s charitable programs. These activities reflect the role, responsibility, and image of Port of Hai Phong – a business for the community, for the people.
