On the morning of March 28, Hai Phong Port held a ceremony to welcome the Pancon Glory ship, marking the maiden voyage of the IQH service line calling Tan Vu Terminal. This is the second new service line introduced in 2025, further affirming Hai Phong Port's crucial role in the regional supply chain and creating momentum to boost trade between Vietnam and international partners.

The IQH service line is a collaboration between three shipping companies: Dongjin, Dongyoung, and Pan Continental. The route connects Incheon (South Korea) – Qingdao (China) – Hai Phong (Vietnam) – Shekou (China) – Xiamen (China) – Incheon (South Korea). The launch of this new line not only increases cargo volume through Hai Phong Port but also establishes a stable and efficient trade connection among three major economies in the region.

Aiming to expand operational capacity and increase cargo volume in 2025, Port of Hai Phong Port will focus on upgrading infrastructures and equipments. The port will deepen navigation channels and turning basins to enhance the reception of larger vessels; supplementary equipment systems at Dinh Vu and Tan Vu ports to optimize cargo handling productivity; and continue digitizing procedures and processes to create the most favorable conditions for shipping companies and clients in cargo delivery.
With its advantageous geographical location, increasingly comprehensive infrastructure, and opened cooperative environment, Port of Hai Phong is confident that its relationship with partners and shipping companies will continue to grow strongly in the future.
