NETWORK SYSTEM

The computer network links Port of Haiphong Headquarters to every Operation Center, Hoangdieu Central Terminal, Le Thanh Tong Terminal, Bach Dang Stevedoring & Transportation Enterprise, Stevedoring & Waterway Transport Enterprise and Chua Ve Container Terminal by the local area network (Fibre optics cable/ UTP), Wireless, STP cable and bronze cable.

TECHNOLOGY

Data center: Custer server (HP Server TC 4100) with HP External Storage RAID-5.

The equipments of the Computer network system are based on the CISCO network system’s equipments (Switch/Router) and HP (Server, Desktop PC).

The system software is based on the Microsoft: Microsoft: SQL2000 Entperise Server, Window2000 Advanced Server, Visual Studio 6.0, Crystal Report 9.0

Customer/ Owner calculating model, database, graphical interface works on the Window 9x/2000/ME/XP operating system.

SOFTWARE

1. Management Information System (MIS- G1)

Operation subsystem: Vessels operation, handling, berth and open storage & yard condition. Management and operation of the tug assistance and waterway transportation.

Tallying and Forwarding Operation subsystem:Tallying and cargo receipt, warehouse management, CFS and container yard management.

Freight calculation subsystem:Contract management, Invoice management, Freight & tarriff calculation and Invoice issuance.

Operation & accounting subsystem: Controls, entry and revenue accounting, internal audit, output Value Added Tax, management and entering to the account the dept of the customers, invoices issuing, accepting and checking.

Equipment maintaining Subsystem: Equipment in formation, maintaining norm, fuel consumption, registry management; productivity per working hour and fuel consumption, warning and recording on equipments’ repair and maintaining. Material for preparation and maintaining.
