On April 15, 2025, Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Decision No. 400/QĐ-CHHĐTVN on the official opening of Berth No. 4, the Barge Wharf, and the Service Wharf – all parts of the Lach Huyen Port area, located in Cat Hai Island, Hai Phong City. These facilities are now authorized to receive both domestic and international vessels for cargo handling and other related maritime services.

Hai Phong, Vietnam, April 16 – Vietnam’s Port of Hai Phong JSC on Wednesday received its first commercial vessel at the newly launched Hai Phong Port TiL International Terminal (HTIT), marking the start of operations at the country’s latest deep-water container port.

On the afternoon of April 9, 2025, a goup of 40 staffs and students from RMIT University – one of Vietnam’s leading international higher education institutions from Australia – visited Tan Vu Terminal, a subsidiary of Port of Hai Phong. The visit is a part of a practical learning program designed to provide students with direct exposure to professional working environments and deepen their understanding of port operations and the logistics and supply chain in Vietnam.

At 8:30 AM on April 5, 2025, TIL International Terminal Co. Ltd. – Port of Hai Phong (HTIT) held a celebration to welcome the first trial vessel success by Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC). The marine vessel GREENVILLE is registered in Malta with total length of 272 meters, deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 93,787 and expected to have 2,043 TEUs unloaded.
