From 07-09 November 2025, at the Intercontinental Ha Long Bay, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company successfully organized the 2025 Annual Customer Conference with the theme “Preserving Trust – Connecting Globally”.
The event was attended by leaders of the Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC), representatives of state management agencies in Hai Phong, along with numerous domestic and international partners and customers.
This is an annual event organized to express appreciation to our valued customers and partners who have always accompanied Port of Hai Phong; at the same time, it shares the vision for development and strategic orientation in the new phase.
Customer centric strategy – The driving force for sustainable development
Speaking at the conference, Mr Nguyen Tuong Anh – General Director of Port of Hai Phong affirmed: “Customers are always at the center of all business activities. The year 2025 is a period of both many challenges and many opportunities, Port of Hai Phong will continue to innovate and adapt flexibly to achieve sustainable development.”
With the motto “Customer happiness is our priority”, Port of Hai Phong always strives to provide high-quality services, optimal solutions and a professional experience.
In 2025, Port of Hai Phong focuses on developing high-quality workforce, organizing in-depth training on professional expertise, operating modern equipment and building a team of “friendly and reliable ambassadors”. In addition, it promotes digital transformation, applying technology to management and production operations, in line with the government’s orientation of “Digital Government – Digital Economy – Digital Society”.
Notably, the Port has established Hoang Dieu – Chua Ve Terminal One-Member Limited Liability Company and Port of Hai Phong Technical Services & Traning Company, expanding the capacity for exploitation, technical services, and professional workforce training.
In investment activities, the Port will equip an additional 04 modern STS cranes for the Tan Vu and Dinh Vu terminals and complete the dredging of the channel section from Ha Nam canal to the turning basin in front of Dinh Vu Terminal No.1 to a depth of -8,5m, facilitating the reception of large-tonnage vessel. In addition, Berths No.3-4 of HTIT Terminal at Lach Huyen are basically completed, affirming the position of Port of Hai Phong as the only port in Vietnam that simultanously operates general cargo, container, RORO terminals, along with service routes to Intra-Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
In addition, the coordination between Port of Hai Phong and state management agencies such as Customs, Port Authority, and Border Guard has been strengthened through specific regulations, helping to enhace management efficiency and facilitate import-export activities. Thanks to these continuous efforts, in 2025, Port of Hai Phong is expected to welcom more than 2,000 vessels, with a cargo volumn of nearly 50 million tons, equivalent to 2.3 million TEUs, an increase of over 20% compared to 2024.

Representing the customer, Mr. Kil Hong Soo – CEO of CK Line, expressed his impression of the remarkable development of Port of Hai Phong, emphasizing:

Spreading the spirit of appreciation and connection
As part of the conference, Port of Hai Phong organized the "Port of Hai Phong – Friendship Tournament 2025" golf tournament, a tour program to Ha Long Bay, and a lucky draw with many valuable prizes. The awards were presented to customers during the Gala dinner.
The Container Customer Conference 2025 concluded with the familiar melody of the song "My Homeland's Port," resonating like a message of steadfast faith and the aspiration to connect globally.
