Managing Director of KMTC LINE visits and works at Port of Haiphong

On March 11st 2019, at the Port of Hai Phong Office, the leaders of Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company welcomed Mr. H.Y.Chung – Managing Director of KMTC Line. Mr. H.Y Chung was accompanied by Mr. S.W.Kim - Manager of Liner operation team from KMTC H/O, Mr J.H.Yoon General Director KMTC Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. Hoang Trong Khanh - Managing Director KMTC Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. M.S.Kim - Former Representative of KMTC in Hanoi, and Mr. M.S.Cho – New Representative of KMTC in Hanoi and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh - Operation Department – Asst GM visited Hai Phong Port. Mr. Cao Trung Ngoan - Acting General Director of the Port of Hai Phong, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh - Deputy General Director, and departments’ representatives of the Port received and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, the leader of KMTC Line informed about the difficulties of the economic as well as the policy that the Korean government are applying to the shipping lines. Leaders of Port of Hai Phong informed about the changes of the Port recently, loading and unloading capacity, the improved vessel operation, infrastructure facilities, information technology system, the strategy of developing in Lach Huyen area. The commitment of Port of Hai Phong are continue to provide the best service to customers and look forward to expanding the cooperation between the two parties. KMTC Line is the Korean shipping line, which have advantages in the Asia sea route such as Vietnam, Korea, China, Philippines, Thailand and so on. KMTC Line is currently in the Top 30 shipping lines in the world, and transporting about 35,000 TEU containers annually.

On this occasion, Hai Phong Port congratulated Mr. M.S.Kim - Former KMTC representative in Hanoi who completed his term of office, and welcomed Mr. M.S.Cho – New Representative of KMTC in Hanoi.
