On the occasion of welcoming the Year of the Pig 2019, Mr. Marco Civardi - Area CEO of Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos of A.P.Moller Group - Maersk had a meeting with the leaders of Port of Hai Phong to greet the New Year and find out more opportunities to develop new business with Haiphong Port. Attending the meeting were Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc – Branch Manager – North Vietnam, Mr. Ninh Cong Minh - Marine and Ground Operations Manager, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha - Assistant to Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Cao Trung Ngoan - Acting General Director of Port of Hai Phong, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh - Deputy General Director, and departments’ representatives of the Port received and worked with the delegation.
After having listened to the leader of Port of Hai Phong’s brief introduction about the Port's operation and business model, handling performancee, facilities and the close cooperation with shipping lines and customers in respect of "Sharing and cooperating to develop together". Mr. Marco Civardi expressed that Port of Hai Phong had been Maersk's traditional partner for many years and Maersk wish to maintain long term cooperation with the Port. Maersk would continue to exchange and support the Port with solutions to improve service quality, and work together to develop new services.
