At the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh – Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Port of Hai Phong – has been elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Da Nang Port for the 2024–2029 term.
His appointment reflects the strong confidence of shareholders, while also creating new opportunities to strengthen collaboration and synergy among port operators within the Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) ecosystem.
With extensive leadership experience at Port of Hai Phong – the largest seaport operator in Northern Vietnam – Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh is expected to play a key role in shaping strategic direction, driving growth, and enhancing the scale and operational capacity of Da Nang Port in the years ahead.
As highlighted at the meeting, alongside the consolidation of the Board of Directors, Da Nang Port will continue to advance its core development priorities, focusing on infrastructure expansion, operational efficiency, and the transition toward a “green port” and “smart port” model. These directions align with broader industry trends in digital transformation, sustainable development, and global integration.
