In the morning of 27/6/2014, the1st General Meeting of Shareholders of the Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company has been successfully held at Viet Tiep Friendship Cultural Palace (No. 53 Lach Tray, Hai Phong) - The 1st General Meeting of Shareholders of the Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company was held and successful.
Implementing the Decision No. 276/QĐ-TTg dated 04/02/2013 of the Prime Minister on approving the scheme of Re-structuring of Viet Nam National Shipping Lines; Based on the Decision No. 103/QĐ-HHVN dated 15/3/2013 of the Board of Members of Viet Nam National Shipping Lines on approving the list of member companies to perform equitization transformation into one-member companies limited; The steering committee for equitization promptly prepared steps of transforming the company into a joint stock company as regulated by the Law. The meeting was participated by 279 persons as shareholders and representatives of equity owners of the Company.
The meeting attendants are representatives of the Hai Phong City Committee of the Party, leaders of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Huệ - Chairman of Board of Members, Lê Phan Linh - Chairman of Trade Union cum. Vice Head of Hai Phong Port committee for equitization, members of Board of Members, Board of General Directors , Board of Hai Phong Port committee for equitization and functional departments and division of Vietnam National Shipping Lines.
Participants taking part in the Meeting with the spirit of “Renovation and Development” have reviewed and decided important contents as followings: Passing the Company’s Charter, passing Business and Development investment Plan, passing profit auditing agency, dividend, dividend posting and voting Board of Management, Board of Supervisor, appointing Board of Directors.
