In early July 2026, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with MSC Vietnam Co., Ltd.—the local representative of MSC, the world's largest container shipping line—conducted a series of working visits and site surveys with the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, the Bac Ninh Industrial Parks Authority, and the Phu Tho Industrial Parks Authority. The program aimed to strengthen connectivity between the port system, industrial parks, and the international container shipping network, while expanding opportunities for cooperation in logistics and supply chain development across Northern Vietnam.

On July 8, 2026, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company welcomed a delegation of international professors, researchers, industry experts, and scholars participating in the 30th International Symposium on Logistics (ISL 2026) for a technical visit, site tour, and professional exchange at Tan Vu Terminal and TIL Port of Hai Phong International Terminal Co., Ltd. (HTIT).

On July 1, 2026, in Hanoi, Port of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company and Saigon Port Joint Stock Company—two member companies of Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC)—together with MSC Vietnam Co., Ltd., the world's largest container shipping line, and MEDLOG Vietnam Holding Co., Ltd., one of the world's leading providers of logistics and supply chain management services, signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a new chapter of collaboration among leading enterprises in the port, shipping, and logistics industries.

To standardize operational procedures in line with global standards and reaffirm the commitment that “Safety Comes First,” on June 1, 2026, Port of Hai Phong, in collaboration with HaiPhong Port TIL International Terminal Co., Ltd. (HTIT), officially launched the specialized training program: “Enhancing Operational Management Capability and Safety in Port Operations.” 

On the morning of May 17, at Tan Vu Terminal, Port of Hai Phong Towage and Transport Joint Stock Company – a member company of Port of Hai Phong – officially held a ceremony to welcome the 5,000 HP Azimuth tugboat TUGTRANCO 01. This is currently the most powerful and modern tugboat in the Company’s fleet, marking the first time Port of Hai Phong has introduced an Azimuth tugboat equipped with advanced maneuvering technology into operation, meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of modern seaport and deep-water port operations.
